I love this quote and love seeing people promoting self-love because in the society we live in it’s not easy to have a strong self-esteem all the time. We are always exposed to misconceptions of real Beauty and it’s hurting girls very early.
I have seen many documentaries on little girls worried about their looks, skin color, hair style and weight. At a very ealy age, some are already putting themselves on a diet (abnormal!).
I just hope that more magazines and clothing designers will make the transition to having healthy-looking models who look like regular people from all sides of this planet. In TV shows, movies, music videos, the main female characters are often skinny, with long straight hair and showing skin to be sexy (sending the wrong message about real beauty).
Feeling and looking beautiful starts from within.
